Preparation:

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Heat oil in a pan and fry garlic.
  2. Add tofu or shrimp and fry.
  3. Add 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp tamarind paste and mix well.
  4. Fold in the cooked noodles and garnish with peanuts and spring onions.
