The LKK Char Siu Sauce in a 397g jar is an authentic Chinese BBQ sauce that combines sweet honey notes with savory flavors of soy sauce and fermented beans. It is perfect for marinating, glazing and grilling meat, especially pork (char siu), but also poultry and fish.

Serve with grilled pork, chicken or vegetables. Can also be used as a dip for spring rolls or fried dumplings.

👩‍🍳 Recipe ideas

🥩 Char Siu Pork (Chinese BBQ)

Preparation:

  1. Cut 800 g pork belly or pork neck into thick strips.
  2. Marinate with approx. 4-5 tbsp of LKK Char Siu Sauce and leave to infuse overnight in the fridge.
  3. Preheat oven to 200°C, bake meat on a rack with baking paper underneath for 25-30 minutes, brushing regularly with sauce.
  4. At the end, briefly put it under the grill for a caramelized crust.

🍗 Grilled Chicken with Char Siu Glaze

Preparation:

  1. Marinate chicken thighs or breasts with Char Siu sauce (at least 1 hour).
  2. Cook on the grill or in the oven over medium heat.
  3. Brush with fresh sauce several times while grilling.
  4. Serve with rice or bok choy.
