🍲 Classic sinigang with pork and vegetables

Preparation:

  1. Cut 500g pork belly into pieces.
  2. Bring 1.5 liters of water and 2-3 tablespoons of MAMA SITA'S tamarind paste to the boil in a pot.
  3. Add vegetables such as okra, radish, tomatoes, eggplant and water spinach.
  4. Simmer for 20-30 minutes until the meat is tender.
  5. Season with fish sauce or salt to taste and serve.

🍗 Tamarind marinade for grilled chicken

Preparation:

  1. Mix 2 tablespoons of tamarind paste with 3 tablespoons of water, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, garlic, pepper and a little sugar.
  2. Marinate 500 g chicken pieces in it for at least 1 hour.
  3. Cook on the grill or in the pan until golden brown.
  4. Serve with fresh coriander.
