The sophisticated mixture of wheat flour, tapioca starch, pepper and garlic ensures a special spicy and crispy breading. Perfect for vegetable sticks, shrimp, fish fillets or chicken bites - without any added eggs or milk. Simply mixed with cold water, a tempura batter is created that becomes golden brown and wonderfully crispy when fried.

👨‍🍳 Preparation & consumption recommendations

Mix 100g tempura flour with 160-180ml very cold water until a smooth batter is formed. Dip ingredients and deep-fry in hot oil (170-180°C) for 2-3 minutes. For more texture, roll in dry flour first.

🥦 Tempura vegetables with soy ginger dip

Preparation:

  1. Mix 100 g tempura flour with 170 ml cold water to form a smooth dough.
  2. Cut the broccoli, sweet potato and pepper into pieces and dip them into the batter.
  3. Fry in hot oil (175°C) for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Serve with a dip made from soy sauce, freshly grated ginger and a little lime juice.

Preparation:

  1. Peel raw shrimp and pat dry.
  2. Mix the tempura batter (100 g flour + 180 ml cold water).
  3. Pull the shrimp through the batter and deep-fry in hot oil for 2 minutes.
